After conscription
After completing conscription, you will begin to adapt to regular life. You will become a reservist and be assigned a wartime position.
After conscription, you have the opportunity to contribute to national defense as a professional soldier — you can enter active service or start an officer career at the Defence Forces Academy.

Applying the experiences and skills acquired during conscription after service
The experiences gained during conscription are valuable also in civilian life. Be sure to include information about the skills and training acquired during conscription in your CV — this can give you an advantage when applying for jobs.

- social skills in addition to military skills;
- acting in emergencies;
- good physical fitness;
- leadership skills;
- various practical skills.
